MOSCOW. For the fifth time, the festival of military-patriotic cinema "Echelons of memory - echelons of victory" has opened in Moscow. The event, which runs from April 30 to May 11, this year is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. This year’s festival guests will enjoy the screenings of the best films about the Second World War, concerts, creative meetings and interactive events. Admission to all events within the framework of the film forum is absolutely free.
The film program of the festival consists of four blocks: films about the Great Patriotic War (“Twenty days without a war”, “Ivan childhood”, “Wings”, “Wait for me”, “Star”, “Cranes fly”, etc.); military documentaries created in the last few years; animated films about the war (paintings by Vladimir Popov, Yuri Norshtein, Stanislav Sokolov, Vadim Kurchevsky, Vladimir Pekar and Boris Stepantsev); films for children and adolescents (“Son of the regiment”, “Tomorrow was the war”, “Young of the Northern Fleet” and others).
All screenings and entertainment events within the framework of the film forum will take place at the Avangard Art Center, at the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, at the Moscow Children’s Puppet Theater, at the Harmony Culture Center, at the Inspiration Cultural Center, at the Eldar Film Club in the cinemas of the Moscow Cinema network - Saturn, Zvezda, Sputnik, Fakel, Cosmos and Circular Cinema Panorama.
