The most beautiful paintings of artists in the world
Automatic translate
Beauty in art is a relative concept. That which is admired by one may seem bad to the other. Therefore, it is impossible to talk about which paintings are beautiful and which are not. It would be more correct to say which paintings are the most famous and significant for the world of fine art. But I will talk about my favorite artists and their paintings, which cause me the most vivid emotions.
This is a letter that came to our office. We publish as is, just added links for convenience.
First of all, of course, we turn to the paintings of Russian artists and painters. There is probably something in the Russian mentality that allows our artists to put special emotions and soul into their paintings. Living portraits of Repin, the unique play of Kuindzhi’s light, Vasnetsov’s fabulous motifs… More than a dozen names can be entered in this series, and all of them are worthy of respect, but the Russian painter who particularly touched me is Isaac Ilyich Levitan and his world famous work "Above Eternal Peace" .
A special composition of the picture, most of which is occupied by the sky and the water surface, prompts the viewer to think about peace, silence, and eternal life. She will be especially liked by melancholy people who like to think about the eternal. I admit honestly, when I first saw this picture, all human life seemed so petty and earthly… I guess I felt that very breath of eternal peace, unity with nature. Particular attention should also be paid to the twilight landscapes of the artist. The image of shadows requires special skill, but Levitan was not only able to convey their transparency, but also portrayed that coolness and mystery (for example, in the picture "Evening Shadows" ), which happens only in the evening. Of course, these are just some of his many works, but, like all his works, they are truly brilliant.
Another artist who made a special impression on me is Austrian painter Gustav Klimt . Him "Kiss" , "Life and death" , "Judith" , "Three ages of a woman" and many other works strike first of all with unusual performance. The use of gold leaf in paintings and the richness of ornaments immediately attract the eye. The image of a woman is predominant in the artist’s work, and I am personally surprised at the skill he achieved in this. Light, graceful and at the same time “earthly” women, girls and children in his paintings are forced to return to them again and again. Gustav Klimt paints conveys thoughts and feelings, makes the invisible visible, and this is his real talent.
And finally, the last master, whose impressions of whose work I would like to share - Alphonse Mucha . A famous artist, one of the brightest representatives of the Art Nouveau style in art, he won my heart with a series of works "Seasons". It is simply amazing how accurately the painter was able to see the most important thing in every season of the year and depict the seasons in the form of girls who are completely different, but it seems that they are so familiar. Masters often say about creativity “Everyday life and grace”, and I completely agree with these words. The natural shades used by the author do not interfere with the creation of female images, as if soaring and surprisingly gentle.
Perhaps you will find works more beautiful and those that will make a greater impression on you, but in my soul it is these canvases that cause a storm of emotions. And it seems to me that if a picture is able to make a person feel any feelings, if an artist could touch the human soul with his painting, this speaks of its real beauty.
