The Orange Kingdom:

STATE EXHIBITION HALL “ON KASHIRKA” presents the “ORANGE KINGDOM” PROJECT. From January 17 to February 9, 2014 there will be a photo exhibition summarizing the results of the Orange Kingdom "international photography contest: a visiting card of the Netherlands."

2013 was the year of Holland in Russia and Russia in Holland. By agreement of both parties, the cross-year program had a wide range of events, including cultural ones.

The OZ "Kashirka" and the Central Bank No. 174, who initiated the creation and holding of the Orange Kingdom International Photo Contest: a visiting card of the Netherlands, contributed to the development of Russian-Dutch cultural relations.

The kingdom is called orange not by chance - this is the national color of the Netherlands. During national holidays, residents of the kingdom put on orange clothes, and football fans, expressing their support for the team, paint their faces in orange.

The purpose of the competition: to speak in the artistic language of photography about history, culture and nature, various spheres of life of the country and people; create a large mosaic portrait of the Kingdom of the Netherlands from photographs.

The competition was included in the official state program. Over 400 photographs were received from 134 participants from Russia, Holland, Ukraine, Germany, Israel, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Belgium, Lithuania, Norway, France and the Czech Republic. 120 photos from 85 participants went to the finals.

The final photo exhibition in the hall “On Kashirka” gathered the best works of the participants, selected by the expert council. The exposition space is a design project of Diana Mayorova. The photo exhibition contains recognizable symbols of the country - voluminous stylized mills, tulips, klumps, cheeses, bridges - cozy details inviting you to get acquainted with the culture of the Netherlands.

As part of the exhibition, a special project of Danila Goryunkov, who traveled to the Netherlands on a maxiscuter, will be held. This is a personal shooting, which is a photo wall "from the family album."

January 17 at 19.00 the official opening of the exhibition. In the program: summing up the photo contest, announcement of winners in the nominations.
