THE WAY OF THE MAGI
What did one see? What did another learn?
And what did the star reveal to the third?
A desert covered in snow-like grains?
Mighty walls and cities within them...?
To grasp the essence of space and time,
Camels, blankets, bales obstruct the way.
Merchants, worshippers of dark gods,
So far removed from truth...
The scenery changes, the pace shifts –
But once again, a vast city appears.
A ruthless power dominates the space,
Alien to human love.
And once again, a temple stands silent over the world,
But understanding anothers faith is difficult.
Not gold will shield life from drama –
Only the ability to love and forgive.
But again, a charlatan deceives the crowd –
A master of confused and timid hearts.
And deceit again masquerades as truth.
Who will put an end to this deception...?
The bazaar overwhelms with its abundance,
Behind it, colorful tents shimmer.
A merchant offers excellent goods.
Food is being prepared. Fires are smoking.
A mystic holds the crowd in suspense,
Swallowing fire, invoking objects.
... but again, the Magi set out on their path,
Believing in it, promising light.
And once again, a caravan stirred up dust and was colorful,
Bales weighed down the camels sides.
In the morning, a faint pink mist swirled,
Confusing the rider who did not know the way.
Who knows what is right? A magician? A sorcerer?
A wizard gazing at the sky? A prophet?
Who can guide lost people?
Does the mistagog call them to hells abyss?
Fires of shepherds flared in the darkness,
The nearly endless night was frightening.
... there appeared a ghost on the neighboring hill,
He beckoned – as if capable of helping.
And in the morning, herds met in abundance,
Sheep and lambs kept warm.
At night, the star reappeared again,
And light shone in the souls of the Magi.
For there is only one secret path –
Dawn comes after a long night.
... again, a crowd of pilgrims bustled,
And the city was once again drawn into the plot.
Gates. Guards. Plebeians and nobles.
Funny games of chubby children.
Oh, if it were allowed to know so much,
Then sorrow would pierce the heart like a needle.
The road led to a dimly lit stable,
It crowned the significant journeys goal.
... threatening to violate lifes foundations,
A heavy burden, an emotionless essence...
Over the city, the sky will soon darken,
Figures of various people flit by.
The world is too vast – it does not please us,
Will there be a place for our passions?
Reaching the goal is not always possible.
The Magi have lost enough strength.
Above the old cave, the star has gone out,
But a future light promised rebirth.
Если Павел стал святым после обращения, то куда или во что его обращают сейчас, называя святым?

This painting, Conversion of Saint Paul, depicts the dramatic biblical moment of Saul of Tarsuss transformation into the Apostle Paul.
What I see:
The composition is divided into two main sections: the earthly realm and the celestial heavens.
In the earthly realm, a chaotic scene unfolds on a barren landscape beneath rolling hills. A group of men, dressed in Roman attire, are in disarray. Some are on the ground, seemingly struck down, horses are startled and rearing, and people are looking upwards in confusion and awe. At the lower left, a figure in a red garment and pale yellow head covering lies on the ground, his hand extended upwards, while another man attempts to pull him up. A strong diagonal composition leads the eye upwards towards the heavens.
In the celestial realm, a brilliant shaft of divine light descends from the upper center of the painting. Within this light, and scattered across the sky, are numerous figures of angels and divine beings. They are depicted in dynamic poses, some appearing to be God himself with outstretched arms, others in a swirling mass of bodies, all illuminated by the heavenly radiance. These figures are rendered with powerful musculature and a sense of divine energy.
