TREES
1
How the trees are charred,
As frost has flown away.
And visually there is no movement,
But fine snow crunches everywhere.
The trees stretch their branches,
Intertwined quite tightly
To the celestial blue, so that I do not
Forget that spring will come too.
2
Salad-colored foliage of April,
Theres a tenderness in its stickiness.
You wont feel it, your soul aching,
This, and much more...

Do you want solidity? Take it;
And there are doubloons on the trees as well.
Memorize the alley by heart -
The maples of this path reveal
Beauty. A rustling alley.
The larch is gently yellow.
Its important for a spiritual athlete -
Everything that height offers.
4
Could have helped, but didnt help -
A black ember in your heart...
What piece of bark turns black
In the corner of your heart?
What are you reading on the bark?
What is it, you trusted friend -
Are you living as you should?
Then a period. Or a dash.
If its a dash, then change
Your life – so that you can live
Brighter. But if its a period -
It couldnt be worse.

The fabric-like leaves of the oak
Are all in rusty markings of fate.
But autumn is good in its own way,
You think theres no judgment above it.
And its not scary for the leaves to die.
The rowan has turned yellow, look.
And the oak – a guard tower
Of the yard – such a boundary of life.
6
Carved maple foliage,
Alto foliage of the oaks
Changing reality with themselves,
They dont seek new shores.
Earth and air: two are known.
The trees will be exposed, so what
Depth shines behind this?
The price of fantasy is five kopecks.
Trees – bastions of strength,
Filling them with the juice of meaning.
How obvious are the perspectives,
What does the poem promise?
Against the background of snow, in blackness,
The trees are unlikely to amaze.
But I am enchanted by the height
Of the oaks in the park.
You cannot comment Why?
The composition is structured around a central figure: a solitary worker, clad in simple attire and wearing a red head covering, bends over his task within the field. He appears to be engaged in harvesting or tending to the land, his posture conveying both labor and connection to the environment. The placement of this individual suggests themes of toil, sustenance, and human interaction with nature.
The trees are significant elements, their dense foliage forming a dark canopy against the lighter sky. They act as visual anchors, defining the horizon line and creating depth within the composition. Their irregular shapes and varied textures contribute to the overall impression of natural abundance and untamed growth. The artist has not striven for precise botanical accuracy; instead, he prioritizes capturing their essence through expressive brushwork.
The background reveals a gently undulating landscape receding into the distance, with hints of further vegetation and possibly distant structures. This layering creates a sense of vastness and reinforces the feeling of being immersed in an expansive rural setting.
Subtly, the painting evokes a mood of quiet contemplation and pastoral serenity. The absence of any overt narrative or dramatic incident encourages viewers to focus on the simple beauty of the scene and reflect upon the rhythms of agricultural life. There is a sense of timelessness; the activity depicted could be taking place in any era. The solitary figure, dwarfed by the landscape, suggests themes of human insignificance within the grand scheme of nature, yet simultaneously underscores the importance of individual labor and connection to the land.
