Приверженец классицизма, немецкий художник Менгс 18 века писал не только портреты, которые в этом альбоме преобладают, но также очень интересные по композиции и интерпретации картины на религиозные и мифологические темы. Жаль, что они здесь представлены очень скудно или вообще отсутствуют.
