The woman’s posture conveys authority and grace; she holds her hands in a gesture of benediction or blessing. Her garments are rich and blue, further reinforcing her elevated status. Surrounding her are numerous cherubic figures, their poses suggesting joy and reverence. The two kneeling saints occupy the lower portion of the painting.
