At the apex of this structure, hovering centrally within a triangular space, is a dove – a clear indication of divine presence. Below it, on an upper balcony, a large group of figures are arranged in a dense cluster. They appear to be observing or participating in the event below, their faces rendered with limited individual detail but conveying a sense of reverence and collective attention. The central figure on this balcony is distinguished by a halo, suggesting elevated status or spiritual significance.
The lower level of the structure features a more dynamic arrangement of figures. A diverse assembly – men and women clad in varied garments – are positioned at ground level, seemingly engaged in an interaction with those above. Their clothing suggests different social standings; some are draped in simple robes, while others wear more elaborate attire indicative of wealth or authority. The presence of dogs amongst the crowd adds a touch of realism and domesticity to the otherwise solemn scene.
The color palette is restrained but effective. Earth tones – ochre, brown, and muted reds – predominate, lending a sense of gravity and antiquity to the work. The limited use of brighter colors draws attention to key elements, such as the dove and the haloed figure.
