Money through the eyes of art - "Bank" photo exhibition at Pinchuk Art Center

On September 18, the PinchukArtCentre hosted the opening of the Bank exhibition of the famous Polish photographer Nicholas Grospier, held as part of the Transfer cultural project.

The author finds inspiration in a deep spiritual understanding of the reasons for the collapse of great empires. It is not surprising that often the objects of his interest are abandoned Soviet structures and abandoned residences of great people.

The idea to create an exhibition was the collapse of the American banking system. Based on numerous photographs of an abandoned bank and the reconstruction of its vault, the photographer created a grandiose installation. Which is an eloquent illustration of a dead crisis.

In fact, the entire exposition is a metaphor of greed and shortsightedness, which have a devastating effect on the development of the whole world. Kievans will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the exhibition until September 23.
