Personal exhibition "Moscow a hundred years ago" by Diana Surzhina at the House of Nationalities

On October 28, 2014 at 18:00 , a personal exhibition of our own correspondent and artist, “Moscow a hundred years ago”, will be held in Hall 6 of the MDN. Surzhina Diana will show 50 paintings written for the guide to Moscow, released in 2014. The paintings are created in a unique technique using computer technology. Her work has repeatedly won prizes at international graphic competitions in Russia, Germany, Spain and Italy. The exhibition of paintings from October 20 to November 9, 2014 takes place as part of the city programs "Heritage" and "Time, Events, People."

The exhibition will demonstrate and sell jewelry Larisa Androsova, using silver with gilding, pearls and amber and other semi-precious stones to create bracelets and rings in the style of Russian Art Nouveau of the last century. Larisa studied at the jewelry school under the guidance of the teacher Derzhavin Fedor Ivanovich, then for five years she took over the experience of other famous masters.

At the opening of the exhibition will be shown a collection of costumes and fashion shows performed by the folklore theater and dance group of the Karelin family "Kaleda - Maleda". The festive costume of a young woman, the second half of the 19th century, already took her place of honor in the window. Tula province.

In Hall No. 4, an exhibition of tapestries by Natalia Ozernaya, working in the technique of manual weaving in the style of realism, with rich color combinations in historical compositions, will open. And in the hall №5 there will be a thematic exposition for the conference “Kurakin Readings”. The program of the opening of exhibitions on October 28, dedicated to the Day of National Unity, will include guslars, old romances will be performed, poets of the Writers’ Union will read their new poems.
