MOSCOW. The famous painter of Orenburg Yuri Rysukhin presented his work in the museum to them. Pushkin. He is known for his many series of works made using techniques used both in icon painting of Ancient Russia and in Western European art.

The artist participated in many exhibition projects, where he was often invited by their organizers. In 2013, an exhibition of works by Yuri Rysukhin with great success was held at the Russian Museum. The exhibition, presented at such a prestigious exhibition site, was appreciated by professional art historians. Ordinary spectators and lovers of pictorial art did not remain indifferent.

Female images appeared in the works of Yuri Rysukhin more than forty years ago. Since then, the art world created by the painter has been replenished with many images born of the talent of Yuri Rysukhin. However, the theme of nudity, solved in an original manner, is still present in the artist’s work. Here is a new exhibition of the artist, which opened in the museum. Pushkin, entitled "Voiced Levkasy," which outlines the technique for the execution of his work, touched on this topic.

The main works included in the exposition of this exhibition belong to the series “Russian Beauties”, on which Yuri Rysukhin has been working since 1975. Experts who evaluate his painting, say that the artist in his works reflects everything he saw over decades of creative activity, using both artistic and everyday experience. This makes it possible for Yuri Rysukhin to create works of recognizable style, which has long become the hallmark of the Orenburg master.

The exhibition “Voiced Levkasy”, filled with vivid images, awaits guests until July 17.
