A new project with the participation of volunteers, "Talk about the picture" presents the Irkutsk Art Museum

Irkutsk Art Museum. V.P. Sukacheva presents a new project, the participants of which were museum volunteers. “Conversation about the picture” is a story about one of the works presented in the exposition of the Main Building on ul. Lenin, 5. The storytellers are precisely the volunteers. Recall that in the spring of this year, the museum recruited students for training courses for volunteer guides. Students could choose the most interesting section of the course: the main exhibition of the art museum, contemporary art or the historical and memorial estate of V.P. Sukachev. In the Main Building, 20 people successfully completed the course. Today they participate in various museum events.

Within the framework of the project “Conversation about the painting”, each volunteer, under the guidance of a museum researcher, will prepare a detailed story about the history of one work, its author, artistic and stylistic features. The cycle was opened by Irkutsk Gulnara Strokan, who on the first Sunday of October told the museum visitors about the Russian artist A. P. Bogolyubov and his work “Fight of the Flora ship. This is one of the best works in the museum’s collection, which was acquired by Vladimir Platonovich Sukachev. In all inventory books and museum catalogs, the picture is listed at number one. In the future, "Talk about the picture" will also be held on Sundays until the end of this year. Beginning at 15. 00.
