Vienna hosted the presentation of the Aida porcelain collection by Anna Netrebko Automatic translate
On December 13, Anna Netrebko’s gala evening was held at the Palace of Prince Razumovsky in Vienna, at which she presented the Aida porcelain line.
The collection ensemble of dishes by Anna Netrebko is the first joint project of the performer with the Imperial Porcelain Factory, which has been producing porcelain products of high artistic value since 1744. Therefore, the choice of the Palace of Prince Razumovsky as the venue for the presentation was not accidental: the atmosphere of the building of the XIX century, where the famous diplomat, collector and philanthropist Andrei Razumovsky lived, emphasized the importance of Aida for the cultural image of Russia.
Among the guests of the evening who came to congratulate Anna Netrebko on their debut as the author of a limited collection of porcelain were Pavel Kaplevich, Juliana Slashcheva, Evgenia Popova, Marina Kostina, Anna Nasobina, Alexandra Skamnitskaya, Marianna Kokh and others. The Aida collection was presented in partnership with the company “New Russian Classics”, by Semper Constantia Privatbank AG and the luxury residential complex Palais Kolin.
Anna Netrebko noted: “I have always admired the quality, subtlety of work and the high artistic standards of the products of the Imperial Porcelain Factory. Joint work with this illustrious manufactory on a collection of porcelain dishes according to my sketches became for me both a great honor and a great pleasure. ”
“I thank Anna for her inspirational and completely unique design and perception of china. This unique collaboration allowed us to see new facets of Anna’s talent, ”added Tatyana Tylevich, General Director of the Imperial Porcelain Factory OJSC.
“There are several great super brands that start with the letter“ A ”: AIDA, Anna Pavlova, Anna Akhmatova, Anna Karenina, Anna Netrebko. And it is wonderful that such super brands as Anna Netrebko and the Imperial Porcelain Factory were united in this project. This is significant, because thanks to such initiatives, Russian culture occupies an increasing place in the global cultural space, ”said Pavel Kaplevich, co-founder of the New Russian Classics company (NRC). “Our newly created company, New Russian Classics, was happy to support this project, we are happy that it succeeded, and we will continue to promote the movement of all significant Russian super brands to the world market.”
As part of the evening, a charity auction was held at which a unique pre-production sample of the ensemble was sold. Made in alternative colors, it exists in a single copy, created manually and has the serial number 0000. The proceeds will be sent to the Austrian charity foundation Wiener Lerntafel, which helps children from disadvantaged families.
The new collection of Anna Netrebko "Aida" is a tea set for 6 people and consists of a kettle, sugar bowl, milk jug and six cups and saucers. The products are made according to sketches personally created by Anna Netrebko. In her drawings, the prima donna embodied her own reading of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera Aida, in which she made her debut in the summer of 2017 as part of the Salzburg Festival.
Aida service is available in two versions - Limited Edition and Exclusive Limited Edition. As part of the Limited Edition series, 1,500 decal pieces were produced with manual elaboration of details. The circulation of the Exclusive Limited Edition line is more limited - there are 50 such ensembles completely hand-painted. Each service has a number fixed in the corresponding certificate of authenticity and exclusivity of the product, and it can be selected when placing an order on the collection website. The design of both porcelain series by Anna Netrebko has the same pattern, but has a different background: the Limited Edition version uses a background of rich golden hues, in the Exclusive Limited Edition version it represents a whole palette from cobalt blue to sand color.
The limited service “Aida” from Anna Netrebko and the Imperial Porcelain Factory is exclusively represented in the salon Imperial Porzellan Wien - the official partner of the Imperial Porcelain Factory in Austria, and is also available on the official website of the project: http://imperialporzellan.at.
