The main organist of the Dome Cathedral performs popular classics and wonderful, in its uniqueness, own arrangements for the organ.

Organ classic… What is primarily remembered at these words? Certainly, the fantasy Bach Toccata in D minor, whose dynamic waves are akin to the ocean tsunami. And, inspired by a toccata, a mathematically impeccable fugue that accumulates the energy of space. And also Passacalia, whose invariable inevitability of the bass line sounds like rock. "Adagio" Albinoni - one of the peaks of world classics. The story told by the music is tragic, sublime… and unusually beautiful. Mussorgsky’s “heroic gates” are so monumental that they simply ask for organ transcription. But “Baba Yaga”, from the same “Pictures from the Exhibition” - is a surprise. I wonder how exactly the character of Russian folk tales will fly out to the audience from shiny organ pipes? Vivaldi’s "Seasons" is the ultimate classic. But it sounded organically relatively recently - thanks to the brilliant arrangement of Evgenia Lisitsyna. She will also perform the famous "Spring". As well as all the other works listed above.
