The Russian Academy of Arts is presenting a viewing exhibition, The Flower Symphony of Pavlovoposad Shawl, dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the Russian folk art craft enterprise Pavlovoposad Shawl Manufactory OJSC. The exhibition will provide a collection of shawls created by manufactory artists from the 1870s to the present.
Among the world-famous unique products that make up the pride and glory of Russia, a special place is occupied by shawls and shawls from the ancient city of Pavlovsky Posad. For more than two hundred years of history, the unique “Pavlovoposad school of copyright shawl drawing” has developed at the shawl manufactory, thanks to which traditions are preserved and the skill of artists is honed. It is with the drawing (croc) that work begins on each new scarf, and the fate of the scarf depends on how correctly the artist chooses the compositional solution and the color scheme. A characteristic feature of the handkerchief handicraft is the desire of the whole team to realize the original plan of the artist.
The exhibition will feature shawls and shawls created from drawings by such prominent artists of the twentieth century as: Abolikhin K.E., Postigov S.V. and Postigov N.S. ; Laureates of the State Prize of the RSFSR named after I.E. These are such masters as: laureates of the State Prize of the Russian Federation in the field of literature and art - honored artists of the Russian Federation Dadonova I.P., Fadeeva V.B., Zhukova E.V. ; Sotskova G.I. and Sukharevskaya T.P. ; as well as artists Favoritova E.A., Belokur N.S. and Litvinova E.
