Exhibition of Marina Sinishina-Shpirko "Warm September"

September 18 in the Gallery of Siberian Art (Karl Marx St., 23) opens a personal exhibition of the Irkutsk artist Marina Sinishina-Shpirko "Warm September", dedicated to the anniversary of the author. The exhibition has about 70 works, including painting, easel and book graphics, works of decorative art.

In graphic and pictorial works, Marina Sinishina-Shpirko reflects the world of human everyday life - in plot compositions, landscapes and still lifes; creates expressive images of contemporaries - close and dear to her people. The author is also close to Orthodox themes captured in symbolic subjects. The illustrations made by the artist for the anniversary edition of postcards with the biography of St. Innocent (Veniaminov) are also unique. The decorative principle, the colorfulness, while the severity of the lines and the accuracy of forms are a feature of Marina Sinishina-Shpirko’s creative manner.

Marina Evgenievna was born in Irkutsk. Her parents are famous artists Yevgeny Shpirko and Raisa Bardina. The artist graduated from the decorative department of the Irkutsk College of Arts in 1978, is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia and the creative association - "MART". For many years, as a book illustrator, she collaborated with the East Siberian Book Publishing House and Stimul Publishing House. Multiple participant of foreign, international, regional and regional exhibitions. The works are stored in collections of Siberian museums, galleries and private collections.
