Exhibition "Olga & Femistokl Atmadzas"

From September 3 to 30, 2019, the St. Petersburg State Theater Library will host an exhibition of theater sketches “Olga & Femistokl Atmadzas”.

Olga and Themistokles Atmadzas are graduates of the Theater and Decoration Department of the Academy of Arts named after I. E. Repin, workshop of Professor E. S. Kochergin. Since 2008 - full members of the Union of Artists of Russia (St. Petersburg).

“The artists Themistocles and Olga Atmadzas, as Kochergin’s students, know the value of the real thing, with their history and energy of several generations… The results of their work are encouraging and inspiring - they are young and very talented” (Petersburg Theater Magazine, No. 4, 2009, M. Smirnova-Nesvitskaya).

Olga Atmadzas began as an artist-decorator of the BDT named after G.A. Tovstonogov.

In the Norilsk Polar Drama Theater. Vl. Mayakovsky, in which Olga Atmadzas designed about 40 performances, in some productions she acted not only as a costume designer, but also as a set designer (“Krado-tele-tara-holes” (2015); “Ivan Tsarevich and the Gray Wolf” (2016); “Sunflower Wind” (2018)).

A regular participant in the exhibition projects of the STD and the Union of Artists of Russia.

Winner of the Theater Spring Prize (2012) in the nomination Best Costume Designer for the performance Talents and Fans (Minusinsk Drama Theater).

Themistokl Atmadzas is a production designer of more than 70 performances in the theaters of the Far East, Siberia, the Urals, Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Nominee for the Golden Mask National Theater Award in 2011 and 2017.

He collaborated with directors Grigory Kozlov, Dmitry Egorov, Alexei Uteganov, Igor Stavisky, Ekaterina Gorokhovskaya, Alexander Isakov, Semyon Aleksandrovsky, Nikita Grinshpun, Marat Gatsalov, Pavel Zobnin, Yegor Chernyshov, Anton Bezyromoyrezyomovym, Fayromoyrezyomyomovym Fyoryromovymovym Shymishuyromovym Fyoryromyuyromovym Fyoryromyuyromovymi.

A regular participant in the exhibition projects of the STD and the Union of Artists of Russia.

The joint exhibition of Olga and Themistocles Atmazas presents theatrical works of different years.
