Exhibition of works by Vrezh Kirakosyan "My soul is in the style of nude"

That is how Vrezh Kirakosyan called his autobiographical novel, published and included in the long list of the Russian Prize in 2014. NUDE means revelation. Vrezh Kirakosyan is frank in everything. His work is a revelation and a breakthrough. His paintings and graphics are filled with a variety of feelings, the main of which was the love of life.

But since 12 years old Yerevan Vrezh Kirakosyan is confined to a wheelchair. But this never prevented him from feeling the breath of every day, being able to see beauty in him and striving to “make his life useful”, to be equal among equals.

On his portraits are people of amazing destinies who have received recognition in their work and have become an authority for many. These are artists (Frunzik Mkrtchyan and Charles Aznavour), and scientists, and people of work. The landscapes of Vrezh Kirakosyan speak about the beauty of the ancient Armenian land, green valleys and snow caps on the tops of the mountains. The artist uses oil, watercolor, gouache, and pencil in his works.

With his creativity and his activity, Vrezh Kirakosyan helps people to realize the true values of life, to understand how to overcome problems, how to be happy even when your path is Overcoming.

The topics of speeches by Vrezh Kirakosyan are always about what worries him. This is “How to love life, if it seems to you that it does not love you”, “How to overcome complexes and not lose faith in the best”, “Let’s talk about the meaning of life…”

The phenomenon of Vrezh Kirakosyan is that "he made himself." A documentary was shot about his life and work, which was recognized by the jury at the Documentary Film Festival in the Greek city of Thessaloniki (2016). One of the new projects of the writer and artist is the interactive talk show “Vrezh Kirakosyan on the important.” In the project - a one-man show based on autobiographical stories. Today he is happy: married, the father of a healthy, beautiful girl - Mary. And, of course, he believes in tomorrow, although he lives with constant physical pain. His diagnosis is spinal muscular amyotrophy. And muscle weakness continues. Despite this, Vrezh works. In his work, he is at a distance that he has determined for himself and which he must pass.
