Exhibition "Work of the Year 2019" of the PAX Sculpture Department

On November 19, 2019 at 16:00 in the halls of the Russian Academy of Arts (Moscow, Prechistenka 21), the opening of the traditional annual exhibition will take place, where the masters of the PAX sculpture department will present their easel works created this year.

The exhibition will reveal the diversity of trends in modern easel sculpture and provide an excellent opportunity to see the works of the largest domestic sculptors. The exhibition will include works by the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Z. Tsereteli, academicians of the Russian Academy of Arts - A. V. Tsigal, A. N. Kovalchuk, G. I. Pravotorov, M. V. Pereyaslavets, A. N. Burganov, A. I Rukavishnikova, S. G. Milchenko, D. N. Tugarinov, M. V. Dronov, S. A. Shcherbakov and other famous contemporary sculptors.

Masters of the Russian Academy of Arts work in all types and genres of plastic arts. Their monumental works - monuments, monuments, memorial complexes can be seen in many cities of the world.

The works presented at the exposition provide an opportunity to consider the variety of figurative-stylistic solutions of easel plastics, and also allow to identify the main directions of development of domestic sculpture, especially shaping, compositional construction. The materials of modern plastic are also diverse: bronze and marble, wood and stone, metal and glass, composite and other innovative materials.
