Creative Industries Center Factory - ten years! One of the first venues in Moscow, formed on the principle of art clusters - CTI Factory - emerged as a space for the implementation of experimental, innovative, laboratory projects in the field of contemporary art. The factory opens the anniversary season on January 30, 2015. two new projects - “Notation” and “Portrait of Jenny”, which present the traditional synthesis of arts for the CTI: installations, sound art, video art, objects, sculpture, graphics, painting.
For the anniversary should be solemn music. That’s why the name of the main “anniversary” exhibition project of the Center for Industrial Property “Factory” corresponds to the musical term. "Notation" (January 31 - February 28, 2015) - a project on musical notation, on the complex combination of musical and visual texts. The curators - Sergey Khachaturov and Asa Filippova - were interested in studying the experience of transforming sound into an image, attempts to more or less adequately embody sound in a visual image, which were undertaken by fourteen artists completely independently of each other.
Real and virtual scores will rustle in the gigantic hall of Olivier. They are “turned over” by contemporary art classics, headliners of young art, and those who are just starting their creative biography.
Artists of the Notation project: Yuri Avvakumov, Nikita Alekseev, Andrey Vasilevsky, Yasha Vetkin, Evgeny Granilshchikov, Natalia Zintsova, Vadim Zakharov, Egor Koshelev, Kirill Logovsky, Alexander Pankin, Dmitry Ryazanov, Yan Tamkovich, Andrey Filippov, Sergey Shutov.
