The organizers of the VII Russian International Film Festival of action-packed films and horror films "DROPS" announced the names of the stars participating in the award ceremony and master classes. This year, the stellar cast of the “worst film festival” is no less impressive than last year. Horror movie fans will have the opportunity to meet in person with the heroes and creators of their favorite Horror movies.

The competition program of the VII Russian International Action Festival of Action Cinema and Horror Films "DROP" this year will be sold non-stop from March 20 to 24 in cinemas of the LUXOR network, and special and retro displays in the cinema "World of Art".

According to a long tradition, the special jury laureates for the contribution to the development of the past year’s genre become members of the jury of the current year’s festival. Thus, this year the judges were: the chairman of the jury - an honorary judge and long-term member of the jury of the Moscow International Film Festival, Silvia Perel (Mexico), super-model and star of the blockbusters "Children of the Corn", "Hostel" Barbara Nedeljakova (Slovakia), the operator himself scandalous horror in the world “Serbian film” Nemanja Jovanov (Nemanja Jovanov, Serbia), cult director, member of the legendary Troma studio Andrea Marfori (Andrea Marfori, Italy), Russian actors Yuri Torsuev and Vladislav Lyapin.

On March 24, a press conference will be held with the participation of stars of foreign and Russian cinema horror, which traditionally opens a number of special events of the film festival. The main characters of the press conference will be the creators and performers of the main roles of the mystic-romantic fantasy “Ghouls” (Gorad Production Center) - Mikhail Porechenkov, Konstantin Kryukov, Aglaya Shilovskaya, Igor Khripunov, Anna Arlanova, Valeria Arefyeva, Andrey Radko and Ekaterina Gordetskaya.

Also, castes of the Russian film “Night Watch” and stars of Russian cinema Natalya Varley (“Viy”), Vladimir Epifantsev (“Green Elephant”) and Valeria Gai-Germanika will also take part in the press conference.

On March 25, in the large hall of the LUXOR CENTER cinema, for all fans of the horror and thriller genre, a star master class will be held in the format of a Q&A convention with the participation of invited star guests, as well as an autograph session and a special premiere screening of the Russian-Italian horror Attack of Soviet Zombies.

This year, the master class announced Hollywood superstar Tom Sizemore (Twin Peaks, Tyuryaga, Saving Private Ryan), star of the tale Tales from the Crypt John Cashier, star of the blockbusters Die Hard and Don’t Breathe Sergey Onopko, one of the main roles in the blockbuster “And the Lights Go Out”, young actress Ava Cantrell, the legendary Italian actor Giovanni Radice (“Omen”, “New York Gangs”), as well as Sergio Steveletti - special effects specialist for films by cult directors Mario Bavas, Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci.

March 26 will be the VII solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the film festival. Authors of the best films in the genre of action-packed cinema and horror, as well as prominent figures in cinema, will rise on the stage of the LUXOR CENTER. The show will be attended by the Modem group (solo project of the legendary Slot soloist Igor Kesh Lobanov), the extravagant "dark" hard rock band SamadhiSitaram, Igor Krutoy’s children’s show group Akademiki, and pop singers Slava Martov, Petr Gara, Igor Filonenko (DVD group); participants of the TV project “Battle of psychics” and other pop stars. At the end of the ceremony of presenting award figurines to the stars of foreign and domestic cinema, spectators are waiting for a buffet reception and the premiere screening of the Rift space thriller based on a series of films about Aliens. For the presentation of the film, director of the film Milan Todorovich will fly from Serbia. The leader of the ceremony is the permanent leader and soloist of the OTTO DIX group, shocking and inimitable Michael Drau.

The competition program presents both the work of famous directors and beginners of the genre. Applications came from all over the world, so that viewers will be able to enjoy all the features of the horror of different countries. This year, the winner of the competition program, in addition to the award figurines, diplomas and valuable prizes, will also receive a cash prize and a certificate for the film’s television rental. The best films received by the organizing committee of the festival during the year will be presented in the cinemas of the LUXOR network from March 20 to 24.

Recall, the Russian international action film festival and horror films “DROP” is a major international project and is officially sponsored by the World Union of Action Film Festivals. The festival is organized by the Live Entertainment production company, whose president is Victor Bulankin.
