The work of Konstantin Korovin to the sounds of classical music

The Tretyakov Gallery decided to please its visitors and, in addition to the exhibition of paintings by Konstantin Korovin presented in Krymsky Val, organized a solemn musical event on June 23 at a site located near the Tatlin Tower.

This interesting move allowed the public interested in art not only to study the artist’s life path through canvases that took worthy places in the exposition. But also to feel the melody of the century, which gave the world such an extraordinary talent. Anyone who showed a ticket from the exhibition could get to the concert.

The evening program was rich in classics. The music of K. Debussy, S.V. Rakhmaninov, P.I. Tchaikovsky, I.-S. Bach, K. Sen-Sansa was magnificent in the performance of Sergey Kostylev, spiritually animating the violin, and Irina Graifer, who brilliantly plays the piano! Soloists of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra managed to present an unrivaled atmosphere to visitors and employees of the Tretyakov Gallery. In which music and painting merged in a single stream of inspiration!
