Meetings with Artists - First-Hand Art

The educational project ARSENALE 2012, held in Ukraine, invites art lovers to a week of meetings with professional artists. The event is an integral part of the first Kiev international festival of contemporary art.

Seven of the brightest creators of the Kiev Biennale will communicate on the theme: "Renaissance and Apocalypse" in the art of today. During the week on the second floor of the Mystetskyi Arsenal, anyone can ask artists questions regarding both their work and their views on everyday life. The meeting leaders were selected famous critics and curators of exhibition activities in Ukraine.

The ARSENALE 2012 project invites you to get to know the artists Vasily Tsagolov, Nikita Kadan, Arsen Savadov, Olesya Khomenko, Nikolai Matsenko, Alexander Roitburd, Vladimir Vorotnev.

Registration of participants ends June 19, 2012. The first meeting with the artist will take place the next day and "set the tone" for the entire event.
