ROSIZO Exhibition Center presents the exhibition "Sunny Caucasus"

Young artists from the North Caucasus region and the Republic of Armenia brought to the cloudy and rainy capital their paintings, full of sun and bright colors. The Museum and Exhibition Center ROSIZO provided the main hall for the exhibition "Sunny Caucasus". The exhibition is part of a project developed by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

The exposition of the exhibition was about eighty works of authors living in the North Caucasus. This land has always been generous with talents. Moscow spectators warmly welcomed the exhibitions of eminent artists of this region. They are well acquainted with the works of Sh. Bedoev and O. Basayev, M. Kelekhsaev and A. Yesenov. The exhibition "Sunny Caucasus" presents Muscovites with young artists - worthy successors of the picturesque traditions that grew up on the ancient national culture.

Landscapes and still lifes brought by artists to the exhibition are diverse in subject. Their scenes depict scenes from folk life and the nature of the Caucasus. The works of young artists are executed in bright colors, the style of writing is slightly stylized, but at the same time quite realistic. For visitors who are not strong in the theory of painting, the choice of colors for the paintings leaves an impression of a cheerful mood of artists when working on their works.

Even the name of the exhibition - “Sunny Caucasus” speaks about the positive mood of the authors of the paintings. The canvases of artists from Ossetia stand out for their sunny beauty. Dmitry Tedeev and Thea Kelekhsaeva presented everyday scenes from the life of their people imbued with warmth and joyful mood. These young authors are worthy successors of the traditions of Ossetian art.
