City Day celebration program "ART IS CLOSE!"

On September 6 and 7, the Exhibition Halls of Moscow Association joins the celebration of City Day with the Art Is Close! Program. On Saturday and Sunday, a variety of exhibitions, excursions, concerts and master classes await in the regional halls of Moscow residents and guests of the capital.

Gallery "Belyaevo"

from 13.00 to 16.00 holds a street action. Its participants right on the street will be able to learn pottery, the skill of creating folk dolls, knitting, glass painting, felting and makeup. About what successes can be achieved in all these crafts, everyone will know who will visit the reporting exhibition of the Training Center for Applied Arts of the Belyaevo Gallery. During the street action, children will be offered an IZO game, an adult will be offered an art market and a concert, and, of course, absolutely everyone will like the flash start with the “Start Your Dream” balloons.

At 5 p.m., the Belyaevo Gallery’s festive program will continue with the visual-acoustic performance “Theater-Architectonika”, which will be held as part of the exhibition “Architectonics of Abstraction”, dedicated to the connection between abstract art and jazz. The performance will be based on the musical compositions of the Cuban composer, multi-instrumentalist, virtuoso jazz pianist and repeated Grammy nominee Omar Sosa.

In the gallery "On Kashirka",

where the exhibition of art photography “Strength, Grace, Flight” (the 150th anniversary of the Moscow Zoo) is taking place, on September 6 the entire program will be dedicated to the four-legged inhabitants of the capital. It will begin at 13.00 with a meeting with representatives of the zoo, who promise to tell a lot of interesting things about their pets. Then they plan a tour of the photo exhibition, a slide show and a master class "Features of animal photography", which will be conducted by the art director of the M-53 Photo Club Rudolf Kostousov.

On September 7, at 5 pm, the Kashirka Gallery will continue to celebrate City Day. The program includes a tour of the exhibition "Workdays" and a master class by the artist Valeria Chemnitz on airbrushing. The evening ends with a performance by the music groups Coffee and Cigarettes and Butdoesitfloat.

"Electric Museum in Rostokino"
