Creativity of Bashkir painters in the art gallery of Ufa

UVA. On the last September day in the Ufa Art Gallery, located on Revolutionary Street, a presentation of two unique exhibitions took place. One of them, consisting of works by famous Bashkir artists, was organized by the exhibition organizers in the Great Hall of the gallery. Canvases for the exhibition were provided by the Art Museum. The exhibition space of the gallery housed the works of 75 authors who worked in different years in the genre of landscape painting. The presentation was attended by real connoisseurs of art, who were interested to see in which directions landscape painting developed in Bashkiria in different periods. The exhibition of the best paintings of Bashkir landscape painters will run until October 26th.

In the Small Hall of the gallery held a presentation of the exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of Fedor Kashcheev. The most famous folk artist of Bashkortostan celebrates his eightieth birthday with the opening of the exhibition. During the time that has passed since the first exhibitions in which Fyodor Alexandrovich participated since 1957, his name became a living legend of the Bashkir school of painting.

To create an exposition of the anniversary exhibition, canvases were selected reflecting the main directions of the work of Fedor Kashcheev. The artist works in almost all the main pictorial genres - portraits, still lifes, genre paintings. Most of the master’s paintings are stored in the museum. Nesterova, whence they arrived at the exhibition. Pictures painted by Fyodor Kashcheev are available in the collections of art museums in Krasnoyarsk, Abakan, Izhevsk and other Russian cities.

The anniversary exhibition of the famous painter will be open until October 24th.

Both creative projects were created thanks to the Year of Culture in Russia.
