SARATOV. Until February 1st, a personal exhibition of original Saratov artist Natalia Moiseeva is waiting for visitors in the Radischev Museum. Most of her works housed in the exhibition hall are still unfamiliar to the Saratov public. Some canvases were created last year, and the main paintings are the result of the work of the last decade.

The content of the exposition clearly shows how wide the creative range in which Natalya Moiseeva works. It included various painting genres - traditional landscapes and fantasy compositions, paintings where the artist used biblical subjects, portraits and still lifes. The artist devotes a lot of time to painting, since for her it is not work, but a way of self-expression, existence.

Initially, the artist gained fame as the creator of amazingly beautiful and expressive tapestries. Her work was a success with connoisseurs of this art form. However, over time, the artist felt that she needed a different artistic language, not so closely restricting her expression. Natalia found herself in a painting that allows her to express her attitude to the world most freely.

We recognize the style of Natalya Moiseeva’s works, her works are filled with metaphors and romantic images. They are interesting in the variety of topics that excite the artist. Although most of her works can be called composed, fantasy, they are most often born from impressions full-scale, becoming an impulse to creativity.

The artist’s style of writing is full of emotionality; she deliberately mixes various painting styles in her works. Natalia has no desire to please the audience, she writes her paintings as she sees fit, as dictated by her inner need for creativity.
