For the anniversary of the national artist Alexander Burganov opened a personal exhibition of his work

MOSCOW. The Academy of Arts celebrated the 80th anniversary of the world-famous artist Alexander Burganov, the opening of his personal exhibition in the halls of the Russian Academy of Arts. Although the national artist of the Russian Federation received his fame and honorary titles for his sculptural works, his graphic works, as well as magnificent tapestries made by Alexander Nikolaevich, are presented at the exhibition, which opened on March 17.

The most famous metropolitan museums and art academies took part in the creation of the exposition, including the Burganov House museum, the founder and director of which is the famous artist himself. Under the direction of Alexander Burganov, this museum turned into a cultural center, where architecture and music, sculpture and theater coexist.

The professional path of Alexander Burganov was begun at the Stroganov Higher School, graduated from the sculptor in 1959. His creative biography reflects the artistic styles of several eras, succeeding each other in the years devoted to the master creating his works.

His multifaceted work not only finds its place in every time period. The artist’s works are distinguished by a striking artistic style and the development of his creative methods. Where they study the art of sculpture, use the term "Burgan school of composition." The appearance of this phrase has become a recognition of the creative method of the master.

Sculptural compositions and ensembles created by Alexander Burganov are well known not only to residents of the Russian capital. In addition to the well-known monuments on the streets of Moscow, the bas-reliefs of his work became the decoration of the metro stations.
