Exhibition Center "Gamayun" opened an exhibition of graphics by the artist Nikolai Leontyev "Our Vysotsky"

YEKATERINBURG. The decades that have passed since the death of Vladimir Vysotsky did not diminish the value of his unique talent. The work of the legendary bard and artist is still an inspiration for people who appreciated the world he created, in which the characters of songs and poems written by the poet live..

Among them are characters who remained forever in the war, which also affected little Volodya, who was carrying sand in a children’s bucket, helping adults put out lighters. Fathers returning home from the war, but not always to those from where they went to fight. The boys of the post-war courtyards, capable of not being afraid even of eight opponents in a street fight.

The poet shares with his listeners memories of how the long-awaited Victory Day was celebrated in ancient Moscow courtyards. The words of his songs were copied from wheezing tape recorders into notebooks read to the holes. And when Vladimir’s songs sounded from the screen in “Vertical”, they were sung in the yards of the whole country.

This year, fans and former colleagues of Vladimir Semenovich on January 25th celebrated his 78th birthday. Could not stand aside and MC "Gamayun", located in Yekaterinburg. Paying tribute to the legend, the museum staff provided a place to host the Our Vysotsky exhibition, which opened for visitors on January 28th.

Her exposition consists of a series of graphic sheets created by Nikolai Aleksandrovich Leontyev. They present images that are vivid and recognizable, born of the imagination of the artist under the influence of the work of Vladimir Vysotsky. Nikolai Leontiev is not a professional artist, but he studied at the art studio at school. Now he creates his multi-genre works using various techniques.

The exhibition is open until February 7.
