SARATOV. Since March 18 at the Museum. Fedina is waiting for guests to explore the wonderful world born of the imagination of the talented artist Olga Peganova. “Puppet captivity” - the artist gave this name to her exhibition, where graphic and paintings were placed next to the author’s dolls.

At the opening of the exhibition, the artist heard words of admiration from her friends and colleagues addressed to her versatile talent. Congratulations on the opening of the new exhibition were complemented by bouquets of flowers and souvenirs. Came to a meeting with Olga Peganova and media representatives who want to learn more about the artist’s work.

During the opening ceremony, the artist told those present that she had a lot of creative plans, so the most wonderful exhibitions she had yet to come. When the guests went to inspect the exposition, it was the turn for Olga Peganova to speak with reporters.

The artist said that she started making dolls about 12 years ago. She is an architect by profession, but has devoted many years to painting and graphics. Her initial profession became a possible reason for the transition to the creation of author’s dolls, working on which you can be a painter, sculptor, and even fashion designer.

Olga Peganova noted that she does not constantly create dolls. She made the last doll about two years ago. The artist says that the main sign of the author’s doll is the feelings and emotions she expresses. Unlike children’s and theatrical dolls, created for playing and animation, author’s dolls are intended for contemplation.

The artist is also known as a master of topical caricature and a great animator. She participated in the creation of the famous cartoon - "The Return of the Prodigal Parrot."
