George Martin’s new book will be released in late October

On October 26, a new book by the author of a series of epic fantasy novels “A Song of Ice and Fire” entitled “The World of People and Fire” will be released. The work was created in collaboration with Linda Antonsson and Elio Garicia.

According to George Martin himself, his new book should give answers to many readers’ questions that arose during the reading of previous novels of the Song of Ice and Fire series and will help to understand the relationship between the characters. In general, the author’s new work is a richly illustrated comprehensive story of the dawn and fall of Westeros. As you know now, George Martin is working on the next book of the Wind of Winter series, the release of which is still unknown, but many fans claim that the work will be released in early 2015.

Recall that the first book of the series “A Song of Ice and Fire” was published in 1996 and only after the release of the eponymous series “Game of Thrones”, filmed from Martin’s books, in April 2011, the whole world learned about these fantasy novels. Since then, the Game of Thrones television version has received the Hugo Award for Best Performance and has been nominated twice for an Emmy Award. After the release of George Martin’s next book, HBO also plans to shoot the sixth season of Game of Thrones.
