Ukrainian children’s book fell into the prestigious White Ravens catalog

MUNICH. The philosophical story for children “Who will make snow” the other day was included in one of the most prestigious catalogs of books for children “White Crows”, which is a list of 250 best publications by 40 authors around the world. The fairy tale "Who will make snow" was written by Ukrainian authors Mariyana and Taras Prokhasko. Illustrations for the book were also created by Maryana Prokhasko.

In 2013, the fairy tale “Who will make snow” has already won many awards, so she became a laureate of the contest “Book of the Air Force Year 2013” in the nomination “Children’s Book of the Air Force Year 2013”. The book was also awarded the “Litakcent of the Year 2013” prize in the nomination “Prose and Poetry for Children” and headed the rating “Book of the Year 2013” in the nomination “Children’s Holiday”.

The White Crows catalog is an annual publication issued since 1996. From the books that the International Youth Library (IYL) receives, the best works are selected by experts and a top list is formed.
