The audio version of the book “I Am Malala” won a Grammy Award

LOS ANGELES. The audio version of the book “I- Malala: How One Girl Fought for the Right to Education and Changed the World” by author Malala Yusufzai, Nobel Peace Prize laureate this year won the prestigious Grammy Music Award. An autobiographical work that won the hearts of not only millions of readers, but also a strict jury, received an award in the category "Best Children’s Album".

The print edition of the book went on sale in October 2013. The presentation took place in the UK, where Malala Yusufzai currently lives. The dubbing of the novel was performed by Neil Vaswani, the book was released under the Hachette Audio brand. “I-Malala” is a memoir of a Muslim teenage girl who defied the society and radical movement “Taliban”. She defended the right to education and protection of the women of her country. Malala’s father, a Pakistani, was a very educated person, and his mother, although she came from an influential kind of politician, could not read or write.

In her book, a Muslim woman described the hardships that she had to overcome daily, but only faith helped her to show determination in the face of extremism. The world around Malala under the influence of terror was constantly changing, and the path that she walked showed millions of women in Arab countries, often without even a primary education, that they need to fight for their rights and faith will help to win. After all, Malala won. Though not the whole system, but even this small victory and recognition by the world community made her the idol of millions of Muslim women.
