In Ulyanovsk will be held "Literary Crown"

Ulyanovsk. On June 12 in Ulyanovsk, an exciting literary event starts with book expositions, theater performances, master classes, quiz games - the book mile Literary Crown. The event is dedicated to the Day of Russia and will be held under the auspices of the Year of Literature in the Russian Federation. The organizers of the action are waiting for all residents and guests of Ulyanovsk on Novy Venets Boulevard, where mass celebrations will take place.

Guests of the action will enjoy a fascinating journey to Ancient Russia of the X-XV centuries, where they will get acquainted with book monuments of ancient Russian literature, folk traditions and fun, ancient crafts, as well as be able to write a letter on birch bark and play board games.

The organizers of the book mile also prepared a 19th-century venue where guests will find themselves in a literary salon where they can take pictures in theatrical costumes and record with a pen in the Girl’s Album. There will be a venue of the 20th century at the event where participants of the action will present the works of Ulyanovsk writers and poets. Here everyone can buy copyright books, chat with Ulyanovsk writers and poets: Nikolai Kazakov, Nikolai Maryanin, Svetlana Matlina, Nina Davydova and many other writers. All of them will declare excerpts from their favorite works from the stage of the Literary Podium site. Also on the same site, everyone can try themselves in the role of a poet and read their poems to the audience.

In addition, a book exhibition will be held within the framework of the Literary Crown, dedicated to the writers-anniversaries of this year, as well as the winners of the leading literary prizes of Russia. Many other expositions will also be organized, including an exhibition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, an exposition of a children’s book, an exhibition "A Book in the Dialogue of Cultures" and others.

In 2015, the book mile Literary Crown promises to be one of the most striking and large-scale events dedicated to the Year of Literature in Russia.
