Tours of the Kaluga Regional Drama Theater began in Sevastopol

SEVASTOPOL. For the first time the regional theater of Kaluga came on tour in Sevastopol. This trip of one of the oldest theaters in our country, which this year met the audience for the 238th time, was organized during the days of the Kaluga region, passing in Crimea. In this theatrical season, the life of the theater was extremely eventful.

If usually during the season seven premiere performances appear in the theater’s repertoire, this year the troupe presented 12 new productions to the audience. There are no empty seats at the performances of the Kaluga Theater, although the auditorium is designed for 700 theatergoers. Guest performances are hosted by the Theater. Lunacharsky. The first performance shown on May 27 to the audience of the city was musical.

The action of the performance "If you love - find" takes place on a popular dance floor in the city garden. Human destinies are connected with this place; love arises and collapses there. This performance was a laureate of theater festivals, it was played in Moscow and Paris. For spectators who did not attend the first show of the play, it was shown again, on May 28th.

The next two evenings will be devoted to the story posed by a work written by Garik Sukachev. Those who saw the film "House of the Rising Sun", created by a famous rock musician, are likely to remain partial to its stage version. The author himself watched the performance of the Kaluga Theater and admitted that he gave him pleasure.

On the Small Stage, viewers will get acquainted with the life of the famous actress Anna Magnani. The performance “Without Make-up”, staged according to the diaries of the star, Kaluga artists will show on May 30th. Two more performances included in the tour program - "Cactus Flower" and "Savage" are also in the Sevastopol drama. Viewers will be interested to see their favorite stories in a new version.
