Voronezh Puppet Theater "Jester" celebrated its ninetieth birthday on a festive evening in the House of Actor

VORONEZH. All performances of the Voronezh Puppet Theater "Jester" always take place in the hall, filled to capacity with spectators. The building where the theater is located always attracts guests of the city, because it resembles a real fairy-tale palace, and there is always a whole queue of people wishing to take pictures with it near the huge Bima protecting it. Huge clocks and characters of puppet shows decorating the theater building add to the theater external attractiveness. However, the Jester Theater is valued, since 2009, bearing the name of V. A. Volkhovsky, People’s Artist of Russia, not only for its unique appearance. First of all, fans of the theater are attracted by the professionalism of its artists who bring prestigious awards from any theater competition.

Equally important for success among art lovers of the puppet theater is the variety of the repertoire of the Jester Theater. Artists of the theater create magnificent performances for spectators of any age category, starting from kids. Their skill allows you to use any of the existing types of dolls.

The season ended was special for the Jester artists - the theater team celebrated its anniversary. The evening, which took place on June 7 at the Actor’s House, where the leaders and actors of the Voronezh theater groups came with congratulations addressed to the puppet theater artists, was called “We Are 90!”.

For their holiday, the heroes of the day prepared a magnificent theatrical performance, consisting of fragments of performances that brought glory to the theater. Thanks to “King Lear”, “Overcoat” and “Kashtanka”, the “Jester” theater has become a well-known collective in different countries. The evening was led by V. Efanov and M. Kadanin, in several amusing sketches that showed the guests sitting in the hall how much work and skill was hidden behind the apparent ease of acting on the stage.
