Artists of the theater. Koltsov completed the 214th season with the presentation of "Graduation at the Academy"

VORONEZH. The performance created in the genre of “modern skit”, the 214th season was completed by the artists of the Drama Theater named after Koltsova. Farewell to the fans of the theater during the summer holidays was the reason for the theater staff to address the main events of the season, full of premieres.

Similar to the name of one of the premiere performances - “Academy of Laughter”, the season finale was presented to the audience as “Graduation at the Academy”. In this performance, the theater artists were able to successfully combine the classic features of acting skits with new youth trends. Alexander Ruban, the lead of the skit, starting the show with rap, emphasized the theater’s interest in trusting young audiences.

In the course of the skit, fragments from the performances that appeared in the theater’s repertoire in the season ended were shown on the big screen. The action of some of them continued at the forefront, and the scriptwriters managed to connect the fragments among themselves in such a way that the characters of the performances smoothly passed from one passage to another. In the fragment of the play "Sea" appeared censor Sakisaka, who moved into it from the "Academy of Laughter."

His participation in the reception of the scene from the play “The Sea” showed how absurd the situation can become when the authorities oppose art. The laughter and applause of the audience was caused by the appearance on the stage of Pushkin, Gogol and Gorky, who were vigorously discussing how to prevent Vyrypayev’s work in the theater.

The final of the skit was the performance of Vladimir Petrov. The theater’s artist thanked those present, and then invited the audience to visit the theater on September 23 to be the first to see the premiere of The Cherry Orchard. This will be the fourth reading of the famous play on the stage of the Voronezh drama named after Koltsova.
