Initially gaining incredible popularity on theatrical stages, the play gained even more admirers when, in 1979, the film of the same name was released.

Now the theater-goers of Voronezh will be able to get acquainted with the familiar heroes on the Small Stage of the Koltsov Theater, in reading the play by the director Nikita Rak. His work is known for its original approach to stage productions. Although the play turned several decades old, Nikita Rak says that the topic of divorces has now become even more topical, which is confirmed by statistics.

However, the director noted that in modern realities the Volodinsky play sounds even more acute, becoming a work not only about the tragedies of married couples who failed to find understanding between each other.
