Festival "Week of the experimental theater" for the ninth time opened in Omsk

OMSK. The first event of the “Experimental Theater Week” festival in Omsk was not even prevented by very comfortable weather. Festival participants, in whose costumes there was orange and yellow, gathered at the Tourist Hotel, and then went along the Lyubinsky Prospekt to the Drama Theater.

This festive procession, called “Orange Mood” by the organizers, gave the audience a little sun on a cloudy and windy day on October 9, which marked the beginning of festival events. Participants and guests of the festival next to the drama theater were waiting for buses, the end point of the route which had DI them. Maluntseva, on whose stage the opening ceremony of the festival was held.

The "Week of Experimental Theater" for the ninth time brings together theater-goers in Omsk. The organizers of this unique project were members of the creative association “Two Theaters”. Every year the number of people wishing to take part in festival events is increasing. Three theater groups arrived from Yekaterinburg alone at the festival - the Open Studio Theater, the Gouache Studio and the ZhZL actors.

Moscow is represented by the KLAKSA Theater, Novosibirsk by the Sinestetika Theater, which creates its own performances using modern dances. The dance theater “NoGa” brought from Tolyatti its dance performances, the youth theater “Variant” arrived at the festival from the same city. Two groups also became representatives of Omsk - The Third Circle and the Lyceum Theater.

The uniqueness of this theater forum is that. that he combines the performances of theaters with different statuses - from professional to amateur groups. The works of the festival participants will be evaluated by an expert council that brings together leading masters of theatrical art.

The results of the festival will be announced by the presentation of awards on October 16.
