In Lipetsk, announced the results of the festival-competition "In the mirror of the stage"

LIPETSK. At the beginning of December, the regional festival-competition of professional theaters “In the mirror of the stage” was held in the Lipetsk region. Four theaters took part in the competition, established by the Lipetsk branch of the STD of the Russian Federation, which presented the premiere performances of the current theater season to the jury.

The organization of the competition was also hosted by regional cultural departments, supporting the socially significant project “Visiting Melpomene”, in the framework of which the festival was organized. Holding such festivals-contests creates the conditions that allow the theaters of the Lipetsk region to regularly get acquainted with the work of their colleagues.

Their atmosphere attracts new spectators to theaters. The jury of the competition, led by a leading critic of the STD of the Russian Federation Eleonora Makarova, met theater figures, philologists and artists.

To summarize the competition and announce the winners in each of the eight nominations, the jury took a lot of time, but the artists finally found out the results of his work. The largest number of awards in several categories received the theater. L. Tolstoy for the play staged by director S. Bobrovsky "How important it is to be Ernest."

This performance was recognized as the best among the works presented at the festival, received an award for best directing. Artists V. Borisov and R. Konovalov became winners as performers of "Best Actor". For the supporting role in the same performance, Lyubov Kabanova received the award.

The best stage designer was named Elisha Shepelev, who worked on the play “Evenings on a Farm”, and for performing the role of the Devil in the same performance, the award was awarded to Mikhail Trufanov. The Lipetsk Puppet Theater was recognized as the best in working with the audience, and the actress of this theater Valentina Babkina became the best in the episode "Thumbels".
