Training in the classical style of painting has recently become increasingly popular not only among artists. Designers and photographers also strive to improve their skills by mastering an understanding of the composition of the picture and the skill of depicting classic human poses.

Training in the courses includes three levels: elementary, intermediate and high. Each level has its own curriculum.

Beginner Academic Level

The basic course is suitable for those who do not have training, but want to learn the basics of academic drawing. The course program is aimed at one type of activity: pencil drawing of volumetric geometric shapes. This technique is the basis of academic drawing, and mastery of it is necessary for successful further education.

In the classroom they will teach you how to draw a cube, a ball and a cylinder, as well as a composition of several forms. At the end of the courses, students master the skills of building a form, applying shadows, strokes, tinting, working with light and proportions. After mastering the simplest techniques, you can begin to draw complex shapes.

Intermediate academic level

Intermediate courses are suitable for applicants of higher educational institutions of the artistic direction, as well as for novice designers and illustrators. Teachers will help develop the ability to detect light, shadows, highlights, contrasts, as well as improve the skill of the academic touch.

The course program includes work on drawings of gypsum forms, fragments of Greek bas-reliefs and parts of the face, a porcelain teapot and cup, a human skull, fractures and folds on tissues. In the classroom, you will learn such techniques as tinting and a realistic touch.

High academic level

Under the guidance of experienced teachers, students at high-level courses learn to draw portraits, the head and body of a person with a pencil. The skills of correct and quick construction of forms, compliance with proportions and academic touch are fixed.

At the courses of this level, such productions are used as the gypsum head of Socrates, the head of Voltaire, Dautsan, Antinous, the torso of Hercules, the figure of Eorsche Houdon in three turns, the satyr-gypsum mask and the Gattamelat mask.

The difference between the studio and many others is that for the successful development of a high-level program, everything is provided there for the production - from the plaster forms of masks and the head to the figure of a person in a 1: 1 scale.

In the classes of the Academy are all the materials necessary for training. This will save you from unnecessary expenses and the need to carry bulky art equipment with you for every lesson. The duration of each lesson in the studio is 120 minutes. Students have the opportunity to independently schedule classes, which greatly facilitates the planning of personal time.
