Facial exfoliation is a technique that removes the outer layer of dead skin cells to reveal smoother, brighter, and clearer skin. There are three main types of exfoliation, each with different functions and best suited for different skin types, concerns and needs.

• Physical exfoliators : This category includes washcloths and cleansing brushes, as well as facial scrubs with abrasive particles that remove dead skin through friction. They are best for dry or sensitive skin.
• Chemical exfoliants : These are products, including peels and facial cleansers, that contain acids or enzymes such as AHAs and BHAs that loosen the bonds between dead skin cells so they can be removed. These products are best suited for mature or acne-prone skin.
• Combination exfoliants : Wash-off exfoliators that contain both physical and chemical exfoliating ingredients in one product. They are best suited for those with oily skin.

Physical exfoliants can be used two to three times a week in the morning or evening after cleansing. Chemical exfoliants can be used once a week, in the morning or evening after cleansing, for sensitive or dry skin, and a maximum of three times a week for other skin types. Combination exfoliants can be used anywhere from once a week to daily, but you must follow the instructions for use of the specific product.

You might love being tan, but you’re damaging your skin when it changes color due to exposure to the sun or indoor tanning. Exposure to ultraviolet rays may make you more likely to get skin cancer, now or later. It can also lead to wrinkled, leathery-looking skin and blemishes. Or try airbrush tanning, where a salon technician sprays tan directly onto your skin. For a quick fake tan, try bronzer. This is a powder or tinted cream that is applied with a brush and gives the skin the appearance of a fresh tan. But remember, you still have to protect your skin from the sun.

Choosing the right makeup cosmetics

If you use cosmetics, choose products that say “allergy-free” or “non-comedogenic” on the label. They should be less likely to cause acne or clog pores. Look for water-based rather than oil-based cosmetics. When acquaintances or friends ask you where they can buy cosmetics , you must take into account that some products have an expiration date, although it is not required. Most often, you need to replace your eye makeup first. For example, don’t use the same mascara for more than 4 months.

Tips for Safely Applying Makeup

Do not share cosmetics and makeup tools with friends and colleagues. When trying on cosmetics in stores, use fresh applicators. Avoid applying eyeliner to your eyelid as it may irritate your eye. If you have had an eye infection, buy new cosmetics to avoid infecting yourself again. Never wear makeup in a car or on a bus. A blow or twist can cause you to scratch your eye or get cosmetics and germs into it.
