On June 8, at 16-30, the opening of the International Hope 2016 Photo Festival will take place at the IEC (Lenin 103)

The photo festival is held as international for the third time. It is supported by the Union of Photographers of Russia.

In the 90s passed as a regional. Photo Studio "Smile", moving to Children’s Art School No. 2 named after S. S. Tulikova of the city of Kaluga, revived the contest "Hope" as an open photo festival.

In 2016, over 4,500 entries from many cities of Russia, as well as Ukraine, Kazakhstan and the USA were sent to the contest. 290 photographs from 101 authors were selected for the exhibition to be held at the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts. The jury is also international.

Honorary member of the Union of Photographers of Russia. For more than 25 years she worked as a leading specialist in the photo art department of the State Russian House of Folk Art. Secretary of the Union of Photographers of Russia, curator of children’s and youth photography (1998-2014). Member of the jury, participant and winner of international, all-Union, Russian photo exhibitions, festivals and competitions. 22 personal exhibitions in Russia and abroad. His works are kept in the A. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Pushkin Museum), Moscow, in the Union of Photo Artists of Lithuania, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.

About the author they wrote: Smena magazines (1994), Photography (1995), the Siberian Success photo magazine (2000), and regional periodicals.

The works were included in the photo albums “Photocreating Russia” (A. Baskakov, V. Stigneev, 1990), “Photobukvar”, “Gallery of Photographers” (S. Pozharskaya, 2008). The author’s photographs of Sergey Skuratov illustrate the album “Artists of Vladimir Land”, many photo albums about Vladimir, Suzdal and Vladimir land.

In 2003, Vladimir Skuratov’s author’s photo album “Just a Moment…” was published in Vladimir. Currently, the black and white photo album Face to Russia is ready for publication.

Sergey Skuratov is one of the organizers of the Vladimir photo club. For 10 years, he has been a member of the jury of the International Youth and Youth Photo Festival "Youth of Russia for Peace and Mutual Understanding", which is held once every two years in Vladimir.

Since 2009, he has been the organizer and teacher of the youth photo studio at the Vladimir branch of the Russian Union of Journalists.

Natalya Alekseevna Govorukhina.

Engaged in art photography since 1979. She graduated from a music college in the class of piano and the film and photo faculty of ZNUI (Rev. A. Erin and E. Gladkov). Member of the SFHR (since 1991) and member of the NSFHU (since 2011). President of the Sumy photo club "Positive" (Ukraine). Curator of the city municipal gallery. Participant, winner and winner of national and international competitions and exhibitions. Permanent member of the jury of the youth festival "Krishtalevi Dzherela". The author of the idea and the organizer of the photo roll "Tumbleweed" (2012-13).

Artist, photographer, member of the Moscow Union of Artists and the Union of Russian Photo Artists.

Graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Russian State Pedagogical University. A.I. Herzen and the Faculty of Photojournalists named after Yu. A. Halperin (group S. Ya. Maksimishina).

In 2004 she received the Grand Prix of the contest “Northern Palmyra”, St. Petersburg.

In 2006 she received the Grand Prix of the contest “Best Photojournalist of the Year”, St. Petersburg.

She participated in international workshops, including the World Press Photo workshop for young photographers in 2007 and the Reflexions workshop in 2010-2012.

In 2008-2009 she was an artist in a residence at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam.

In 2013 she was invited to the residence for photographers LightWork, USA.

Her works were exhibited at international photo festivals and group exhibitions, as well as in personal exhibitions in Russia, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Spain and other countries.
