"Can I tell you about my soul?..."

From November 27, 2024 to January 26, the Kaluga Museum of Fine Arts will host the fourth exhibition of the literary and artistic exhibition project “Can the soul be told?…”, dedicated to the 210th anniversary of the birth of Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov “Life is eternity, death is only a moment!”

At the fourth and final exhibition of the project, we tried to clothe philosophical reflections in visual images. This is difficult and fascinating at the same time, because the visual images of love (works by S. V. Morozov, N. L. Tsikulin), the meaning of existence (works by M. D. Mantulin, B. A. Talberg), God (works by B. A. Cherstvy, R. A. Yurchenko) are so different for each of us. Therefore, the exhibition presents different types of art, different techniques, different stylistic directions.

The exhibition is accompanied by audio recordings of M. Yu. Lermontov’s poetry. Listen, watch, reflect and find consonance with your thoughts - this is the final chord of the exhibition project "Can the soul be told?…".
