Andrey Smirnov is the successor of the Art Nouveau art traditions. He draws special inspiration from female nature, creating charming and mysterious female images, sometimes touchingly embarrassed, sometimes arrogantly narcissistic - they are always mysterious and captivating the viewer’s attention.

Born in Nizhny Novgorod in 1960. He began his studies at the Theater School in Nizhny Novgorod, after which, in 1988, he entered the St. Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I.E. Repin. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1997. Participant of exhibitions in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Paris, London, Shanghai, Lyon, Stockholm, Singapore and Hamburg. The artworks are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
