The Public Organization SKHTO MIG (Union of Artists and Creative Associations) holds the first of its kind, unique traveling art exhibition for children and adults in Moscow “Visiting a Fairy Tale”.
The goal of the project is to attract the public to preserve the world’s fabulous heritage and especially Russian traditions in fairy tales for the modern generation. The urgency of the problem lies in the fact that many modern children read a little and are engaged in creativity, and are more interested in video games, watching low-quality cartoons in terms of content, meaning and artistic image.
“What a delight these fairy tales are!” - anyone who has recognized and loved their kind and strong fairy-tale heroes, a simple and beautiful syllable, an interesting story and a happy ending, and later, re-reading fairy tales, can exclaim after A. Pushkin from childhood to his children and grandchildren, appreciated their simple and great wisdom. It’s a pity that kind fairy-tale characters for modern children are often crowded out by obscure, eccentric-scary, and sometimes frankly aggressive horror monsters.
Our main task is to take care of the younger generation and the preservation of national traditions. Let us return to our children our good old tales!
We invite you on an exciting journey through the pages of the World classics of fairy tales.
Artists of the Creative Union "SKhTO MIG" from Moscow, Tver, Kolomna, Tula, St. Petersburg, Stavropol, Belgorod, Chelyabinsk will present their "fabulous" paintings. Together with them you will plunge into the magical world, in a new way you will see your favorite fairy tales.
At the exhibition it will be possible to join the charity event "Funny Pictures". By purchasing picturesque miniatures that will remind you for a long time about the exhibition “Visiting a Fairy Tale”, you can contribute to a good cause. Funds raised from the sale of pictures will go to gifts for children with disabilities and children from unprotected layers of the population. A.
