Open Interregional exhibition of works by young artists of the Republic of Tatarstan "Youth of Tatarstan" under the name "Man. Earth. Labor ”is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Union of Artists of Tatarstan of the regional branch of the VTOO“ Union of Artists of Russia ”. The main objectives of the project are to intensify the interaction between creative youth: students of art universities, students of art schools, creative unions and associations, masters of folk art. The exhibition is designed to consolidate the creative forces of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Volga regions and Russia to create highly professional works of painting, graphics, sculpture, poster, decorative and applied art by youth.
The exhibition presents the works of young artists from various regions of Russia (Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Crimea, Tatarstan, Chuvashia, as well as Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Ulyanovsk) and Kazakhstan. The main idea of the project is to embody the themes of Man, Earth and Labor in the visual arts, singing the beauty of the native land, people of work, creating the image of a contemporary.
The themes proposed by young artists are traditional for Russian art, however, with their help, the task is to show how the established ideas and ways of their representation in contemporary art have changed. Man is a fundamental category, its reflection in art is an endless interpretation of the meanings of his existence and place in the world. The general theme of the exposition expressed the feelings of young artists from the world in which they have to live. The main task for them was to study the ethnic and social identification of everyday life.
The topic of labor is in the same line. Industrial themes rarely appear in post-Soviet art, and the topic of work for a contemporary artist is often an expression of the forms of social and sociocultural occupations of a person, a way to show his activities in the field of national life. By labor, man transforms the world, his environment, and, of course, nature. Human life against the background of urban landscapes, rural idylls or a native home is diverse and puts a person in the center of artistic discourse.
Each region in its own way presented the "humanistic" message of the exhibition. Realism is the preferred artistic direction of this project. Its various variations in painting are shown by young masters of Tatarstan, Chuvashia, Dagestan, Crimea, Ulyanovsk. The creative youth of Tatarstan and Dagestan realizes their spiritual aspirations in an elegant schedule that reveals in a realistic manner the everyday life of human life.
Young artists of Kazakhstan and Bashkortostan use symbolic and symbolic images to reflect the anthropological component of their work. A pronounced ethnicity traditionally characterizes the art of these regions.
Refined enamel art is demonstrated by the Likhovid and Company creative workshop from Rostov-on-Don and the artist from Ufa G. Gilyazetdinova, showing a remarkable variety in the choice of style and themes.
The sculpture of young masters is inseparable from the traditions of the older generations and folk traditions.
In general, creative young people are excited about the artistic language of traditional art, as well as the expressive means of modern trends, which help to reveal “eternal” themes in a full range.
The exhibition runs until August 22, 2016.
