"Far Edge" Dynasty of artists Kambulatov. Dagestan

The exhibition “Far Land” is dedicated to the theme of mutual cultural influence of Russia and the Caucasus.

This unique exhibition project represents the work of related creative dynasties. The starting point for the work of several generations of artists was the gradually established general professional school.

Gadzhi Kambulatov, Evgeniy Drofin, Murad Kambulatov, Mukhtar Kambulatov, Alexandra Drofina and Evgeniy Kambulatov are in constant creative search, change their style depending on the theme and objectives of the work, and work in collaboration.

“The exhibition will provide an opportunity to see and appreciate the continuity and transmission of artistic traditions in works. It will be a wonderful opportunity to look at the world through the prism of art,” said Yuri Evtyukhin, director of the Ostafyevo Museum-Reserve.

The exhibition features more than 40 works made in different types and genres of fine art: still lifes with national motifs, sketches and landscapes created during travels and internships.
