Children’s online course "City in Cinema and Animation"

A 12-lesson course with full immersion in the art of film editing has been designed specifically for teenagers aged 14-16 with an interest in cinema and city life.

January 18 Museum of Architecture. A. V. Shchuseva launches a new online course "City in Cinema and Animation", which will include three thematic blocks: created geography, cinematography and architecture, interaction of space and sound. In the classroom, students will get acquainted with experimental cinema, starting with the classics of the last century and ending with today. The course is designed to acquire specific knowledge about the device of film editing and the skills of its implementation in collage techniques. At the end of each block, the participants will collect the collages made in the classroom into an author’s book.

The course assumes full immersion in the art of film editing and will be interesting both for those who are well versed in cinema and for those who are interested in this topic for the first time.
