Children’s Theater Festival "Let’s Go to the Theater"

In the days of spring break, we invite young guests to an old mansion on the embankment of the Fontanka River 41, to the Kochneva House, where the Children’s Theater Festival "Let’s go to the theater!"

The premiere of the interactive review “Magic Theater” will open it on March 25 at 14.00. The holiday will begin literally on the threshold of the Petersburg Concert. Arriving guests will be met by theatrical characters. An interactive exhibition of "theatrical wonders" will work, composed of fake items and costumes that can be touched, held or tried on. Children will take part in a master class on creating a magic theater stick, with which you can then go to the fairy kingdom.

The revue program is built as a journey through fairy tales - Russian and European, folk and author. With the help of magic wands, children will open the doors to fabulous theatrical worlds, where they will meet already familiar and new characters. Children will not only watch the performance, but will also take an active part in it: they will go to the Emerald City along with Ellie and Scarecrow, smile at the Cheshire Cat, dance at the ball with Cinderella, outwit Baba Yaga and Koshchei the Immortal, learn magic from Harry Potter himself…

Also in the program of the festival are already familiar and beloved performances from the children’s repertoire of Petersburg Concert: Pollyanna, Bremen Town Musicians, In Search of a Golden Lyre and the theater quest In Search of a Mysterious Ghost.
